The Pen
The barrel is finished in blue precious resin, paired with a platinum-coated stainless-steel cap engraved with a geometric pattern representing the way light refracts through ice crystals. The platinum-coated clip carries an individual serial number in the clip ring, with matching platinum-coated fittings throughout. The handcrafted Au750 solid gold nib is rhodium-coated and engraved with the Mer de Glace "dragon" resting atop the Mont Blanc mountain.

The Story
The collection draws on the Mer de Glace — the "sea of ice" on the northern slope of Mont Blanc — and the old legend that the glacier resembles a great monster clinging to the mountainside, a natural wonder that has shaped Montblanc's identity since its founding, from the six-pointed emblem to the 4810 stamped on every nib.
