The Pen The barrel is crafted in precious black resin with platinum-plated fittings and trim, while the cap top is set with a patented 43-point cut diamond — individually shaped in the form of the Montblanc six-pointed star — floating in the clear dome above the cap. The specially designed platinum-plated clip bears the Montblanc star and carries an individual serial number, and the cap is stamped with "MONTBLANC 100" in recognition of the anniversary.
