The Pen
The cap and barrel are crafted from red precious resin, recalling the red jacket Dean wore in Rebel Without a Cause, with a pattern inspired by the jeans he wore in the film. The ruthenium-coated clip is shaped as a gun in tribute to his famous scene in Giant (1956). The cap ring is engraved with his words, "Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today", and the cone carries the coordinates of the James Dean Memorial.

The Story
Part of the Great Characters series, this Special Edition honours James Byron Dean (1931–1955), the American actor whose three major films made him a lasting symbol of youthful rebellion.

Why This Pen
For the collector drawn to the meeting of cinema history and fine craftsmanship, this is a thoughtfully detailed homage to a man whose brief career left a permanent mark on popular culture.
