The Pen
The cap and barrel are 925 sterling silver, engine-turned with the close vertical pinstripe guilloché that gives the pen both its name and a secure, tactile grip. The trim is gold-plated, including the classic Montblanc clip, which carries an individual serial number, with the white star emblem inlaid in the cap top. It writes on a twist mechanism and takes standard Montblanc ballpoint refills.

The Story
The Solitaire line takes the Meisterstück proportions Montblanc has built since 1924 and executes them in precious metal, producing a pen that develops its own patina in the hand over years of use.
