Edition & Year: Introduced in 2007 as the Writers Edition for that year, a Limited Edition of 16,000 individually sold fountain pens, with a further 4,000 issued in sets.

The Pen
The cap top and barrel ends are crafted from black-brown precious resin with a mother-of-pearl shimmer, framing a platinum-plated cap and barrel finished in a fine ribbed ring structure inspired by Art Deco design. Faulkner's signature is engraved on the cap beside the clip. The 18K gold nib carries an aeroplane engraving, a reference to the author's lifelong passion for flying.

The Story
This Writers Edition honors William Faulkner (1897–1962), the Nobel Prize-winning novelist of The Sound and the Fury and As I Lay Dying, who’s fictional Yoknapatawpha County reshaped the modern American novel.
