Montblanc StarWalker Cool Blue Ballpoint Pen

Edition & Year: Introduced in the mid-2000s as part of Montblanc's StarWalker line, launched in 2003 and since discontinued in this colour.

The Pen
The cap and barrel are guilloché-engraved metal finished in translucent royal blue lacquer, allowing the machined pattern to read through the colour with depth and movement. All fittings, including the spring-loaded clip, are platinum-plated, with the individual serial number engraved on the clip ring. The signature StarWalker cap top carries the Montblanc emblem floating beneath a transparent dome, and the pen operates on a twist mechanism.

The Story
The StarWalker was conceived as Montblanc's forward-looking counterpoint to the Meisterstück — the emblem lifted from the cap and set adrift in clear resin, a nod to the brand's white star as a celestial rather than merely a heraldic mark.
