The Pen The barrel is crafted from black precious lacquer and the cap from black precious resin, in the longer, slimmer silhouette that defines the Heritage line. Its standout feature is the vintage-look serpent clip, formed by a stamping and winding process in a special metal alloy and aged through a unique galvanic and stripping technique, while the cap is crowned by a Montblanc emblem in coral- and ivory-coloured resin.
The Story The Rouge et Noir celebrates Montblanc's pioneering spirit, reinterpreting the legendary 1906 fountain pen that was an outstanding technical achievement for its day, allowing writing without dipping the nib into an inkwell.
Why This Pen For the collector drawn to Montblanc's founding history, the serpent motif and heritage styling make this a characterful piece rooted in the maison's earliest chapter.
